Ceremony to rename the CGCOC Group and Celebrate its 12th Anniversary

On December 5, the ceremony to rename the Group’s Chinese name and celebrate its 12th anniversary was held at the Group’s headquarter.

At its 12th anniversary, the Group was renamed as CGC Overseas Group in Chinese (formerly known as CGC Overseas Construction Group in Chinese). Renaming the Group marks the Group’s new positioning as a multinational company, branching out its core business from singular focus on construction to a multiple of business offerings, such as consultation, investment, infrastructure construction, property, logistics and leasing.

Group President made a speech at the ceremony, where he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to shareholders, partners and all the staff at home and abroad for their support and help over the past 12 years. He also shared his prospect for the next wave of rapid development of the Group. He said that “the group has entered a new stage of development and that we are now standing on a new starting point, shouldering new mission, new dreams, ideals and beliefs. With expectations and goals, we are ready to begin a new journey.”

The ceremony came to an end with happy smiles and cheerful spirits shared by all employees.
