CGCOC Group Signing a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Zhejiang Transportation Engineering Construction Group

On the afternoon of May 29 2013, CGCOC Group held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Transportation Engineering Construction Group in the meeting room of Hangzhou Qianjiang Business Building. President Ji Weimin of CGCOC Group hosted the ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. Chairman Wang Hong of Zhejiang Transportation Engineering Construction Group hosted the ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of the Group.

President Ji Weimin expressed appreciation for Transportation Group’s efforts in promoting bilateral cooperation and recognized the Group’s status and strength in the infrastructure construction industry. He noted that CGCOC has long history of overseas development and consolidated its reputation and status through continuous efforts. He hoped that the two parties would have a long-term view, show respect for each other, give full play to each other’s strengths in talents, profession and resources, make steady progress so that we can form a sound model in African market and achieve mutual development.

In his speech, Chairman Wang Hongtao extended warm welcome to CGCOC leaders and congratulations on the signing of strategic cooperation framework agreement with Zhejiang Transportation Engineering Construction Group. Chairman Wang noted that as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Transportation Group, Zhejiang Transportation Engineering Construction Group is a pillar enterprise in the road construction industry in Zhejiang standing at the forefront of “going global” in the group. The company boasts rich experience in the management of overseas construction project and won high recognition from the government and society of African countries such as Congo where it has been deeply rooted. Chairman Wang hoped that the Transportation Engineering Construction Group would take this opportunity to expand its overseas business in an all-round way and have complementary advantages with, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results with CGCOC in design, construction and investment in order to realize new development of overseas markets.

Leaders from both sides attended the signing ceremony. They are Vice President of CGCOC Li Xuhui, Chief Personnel Officer He Wei, Chief Operation Officer Yuan Fengjun, Marketing Director Sun Guoqiang, General Manager of CGCOC Hansheng Company Tian Jiang, General Manager of CGCOC Zhejiang branch Du Fengshan, and Member of the Party Committee and Chairman of the labor Unition of Zhejiang Transportation Group Liu Chunkai, and Deputy General Managers of Zhejiang Transportation Engineering Construction Group Wu Wei and Chen Zhe.
