Abuja Outer North Ring Expressway Project (short for ONXE Project) is located in the northern part of ABUJA, capital of Nigeria. It is designed to cover 20.35km, with lane-width of 77 meters, which includes 2 X 12m main roads plus 2 X 8m relief road, totaling 10 two-way lanes. This project is designed to be the one with highest standard and most advanced facilities, since the independence of Nigeria. It is also the largest Nigeria road project independently undertaken by a Chinese enterprise so far. The successful implementation of the project eases the traffic congestion in ABUJA and improves its urban functions.
