With the ever-developing Chad economy, the lack of energy supply is more salient. At the invitation of the Government of Chad, we devised a strategic plan of photovoltaic power generation for the whole nation in Chad, and we planned to construct a photovoltaic plant in the capital, to strategize the country’s energy supply and solve its energy security issues, while honoring environmental protection. The planned FARCHA solar grid photovoltaic power plant is located to the northwest of N'Djamena, 11 km from the city. FARCHA PV power plant system is designed to have a capacity of 20MW.
