Our long-term focus and investment are located in this field. Apart from the application of modern agricultural techniques, we pay special attention to the coordination of agriculture and the natural environment, in the interests of sustainable development. CGCOC Group has established modern agricultural parks in a number of African ries, to provide the most cutting-edge technology, to help the host ries achieve food security, and improve the quality of agricultural development.
In 2006, we set up Green Agricultural Development Nigeria CO., Limited. We secured a 99-year franchise of 2025 hectares of land in Wara farms, Kebbi, Nigeria. The farm is located in northwestern Nigeria, right next to the Kanji reservoir, the biggest one in the Niger River in West Africa. In 2008 we signed cooperation agreement with Yuan Long Ping High-Tech Agriculture CO., Ltd. (LPHT) to jointly increase our investment, and restructure the Green Agricultural Development Nigeria into Green Agricultural West African Company Limited. CGCOC Group accounted for 87.5% of the shares; LPHT accounted for 12.5% of shares. Currently, WARA Agricultural Park has become an important link in the Nigerian agricultural production chain. The crop breeds, sophisticatedly cultivated by the farming techniques adapted to the local environment, have occupied a significant share of Nigeria's agricultural markets.

In 2012, we obtained a land in the Nigerian capital Abuja Bwari, for the construction of an agribusiness park, which aims to feature and capitalize on modern Chinese agriculture and agricultural technology. After the completion of the park, it could be used for the demonstration of collective breed cultivation and other relevant cultivation technologies. It could also be used for the display and sales of agricultural farm machinery and their support services. It will be a business service and promotion platform, for the ecological cycled agriculture economy, land and water resources utilization, agricultural training, gardening, farming and leisure agriculture. This will also be the first modern agriculture comprehensive park in West Africa.

finalized the agricultural fields of to be developed by CGCOC Group in Chad. On the basis of scientific planning, CGCOC Group will make the best use of land resources provided by the Government of Chad, and actively introduce China's advanced agriculture technology, to play an active role in improving the Chad’s agriculture production.
