The 21st century is the era of clean energy. We strive to make due contributions to the energy conservation of the whole society. We carry out and participate in new energy projects in multiple ries, and cooperate with many governments. We collect clean energy data for the governments and plan the development of clean energy for them. In the future, we will invest more in this area.
With mature Chinese geothermal development experiences, we work with the Government of Djibouti on planning and executing the geothermal long-term development project.

Ethiopia is known as "the spine of Africa", extremely rich in wind resources in some areas. At the invitation of the Government of Ethiopia, we have implemented the first project of "China-Africa cooperation in the exploitation of clean energy", which is the ADAMA wind power project in Ethiopia. The Phase One Project has a total installed capacity of 51 MW, and was put to full operation on September 1, 2012. The Phase Two Project has a total installed capacity of 153 MW, and is expected to be in operation by 2015. The project funding is supported by the Export-Import Bank of China.

In order to meet the energy demands of Mali, we work with the Government of Mali, and undertake a detailed investigation about the PV prospects in Mali. We decided to build a 40-megawatts solar power plant in KATI, near the capital city of Bamako. This power station will significantly improve the energy supply in Mali's capital and provide sound protection for the economic development of Mali.

The project is located in the Bamboutos mountain region, sitting on the western and northwestern Cameroon. The expected generation capacity is 40MW, providing power supply for the two district governments in Baffousam and Bamenda. The project will use Chinese standards and equipments and plan to use 20 2MW wind turbines, and construct the supporting transmission facilities. This project is first of it kind to effectively harness domestic wind energy in Cameroon.

With the ever-developing Chad economy, the lack of energy supply is more salient. At the invitation of the Government of Chad, we devised a strategic plan of photovoltaic power generation for the whole nation in Chad, and we planned to construct a photovoltaic plant in the capital, to strategize the country¡¯s energy supply and solve its energy security issues, while honoring environmental protection. The planned FARCHA solar grid photovoltaic power plant is located to the northwest of N'Djamena, 11 km from the city. FARCHA PV power plant system is designed to have a capacity of 20MW.
