CGCOC Ethiopia was Invited to the First International Agro-industry Investment Forum

During October 5th to 7th, 2016, the First International Agro-industry Investment Forum, organized by the Ethiopian government and United Nation Industry and Development Organization, was held in the UN African Economic Committee headquarter in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. CGCOC GOURP was invited to give a keynote speech on the forum.The General Secretary of UNIDO, Mr. Li Yong and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Mr. HailemariamDesalegn attended this forum.

This forum focused on the agricultural and industrial projects in Ethiopia and other African countries, involving five themes: investment environment in Ethiopia, finance, manufactory, food processing, textile process and clothes and leather goods. The Assistant President of CGCOC GROUP, and Managing Director of CGC Ethiopia Ltd. Mr. Gao Lei, as the special keynote speech guest for the agro-product processing park and agricultural industrialization sub-forum, made introduction on the thinking of agriculture development of CGCOC and progress on the Ethiopia livestock industrial park. At the same time, he also invited other companies to join together to promote the husbandry industry development in Ethiopia.

Over 600 representatives from Ethiopian government, investors, China and international financial institutes, private companies also attended this forum.

The Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Mr.Hailemariam Desalegn announced at the closing ceremony that the 2nd International Agro-industry Investment Forum would be also held in Ethiopia.
