Vice President of China Li Yuanchao visited CGCOC Industrial Park in Senegal

Li Yuanchao, Vice President of China visited Industrial Park in Diamniadio established by CGCOC during his visit to Senegal on May 7, 2017. Senegal Prime Minister Mohamed Dionne companied his visit.

While arriving at Diamniadio Industrial Park, Li expressed thanks to all related parts, then he shaked hands and communicated with Wang Wei, General Manager of CGCOC Senegal branch, and expressed his best wishes to the project staffs. Li then visited A3 factory site and administrative building of the industrial park.

Senegal APROSI head explained that industrial park is the major part of Senegal PLAN SENEGALAIS DE L'EMERGENCE (Plan of Prosper), currently government has passed the Special Economic Zone Law, some companies already showed interest to enter the industrial park. Senegal Prime Minister Dionne introduced regional advantages of Senegal and Diamniadio new city plan.

During the visit, Li shared successful experiences of Eastern Industrial Park of Ethiopia, mentioned that industrial park should develop unique competitive advantages to attract investors, Chinese government is willing to encourage Chinese companies to invest in Senegal and bring benefit to people of our two countries. In the end, Senegal part again welcomed Chinese delegation to visit the country.
