A delegation of scholars and senior media professionals from African Portuguese-speaking countries visited the group headquarters.

On May 20, 2019, scholars and senior media professionals from Portuguese-speaking African countries visited the headquarters of the Group and held a forum on cooperation with the media on the construction of the “Belt and Road” under the China-Africa Community of Shared Future. Zhang Yanqiu, director of the African Media Research Center of Communication University of China, and the leaders of the group's market development department attended the meeting.

The ten members of the delegation were mainly from universities and media in the countries such as Guinea-Bissau, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique. Market development manager Li Dong introduced to the visitors the history of the group's development in Africa and its contributions to local economic development, employment resolution, and social responsibility. The two sides exchanged views on concerned issues, which enhanced mutual consensus.
