On July 21, 2021, Xinhua News Agency published an article titled "From the Vivid Stories in President Xi's Signed Article, To Comprehend the Rich Connotation of China-Africa Cooperation".

On the eve of the state visits to Senegal and Rwanda in July 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping published signed articles on mainstream Senegalese newspaper Le Soleil and Rwandan newspaper The New Times, referring to many vivid stories of China-Africa cooperation.

With people-centered the philosophy of development, Chinese President Xi Jinping has strengthened the strategy and cooperation of China-Africa partnership for greater fruition to the Chinese people and the African people. President Xi Jinping has also articulated the concept of true sincerity, working closely together with African leaders for the development of a blueprint for China-Africa relations, and the advancement of China-Africa cooperation.

Under the deep concern of our President Xi Jinping, several mutually beneficial projects that can be followed have been steadily progressed and implemented, in which most of the projects have become part of the historical witness to the unity and cooperation of China and Africa, and to other developing countries in general.

Rural Well Drilling Project:

Most of the people no longer travel a long distance to fetch water.

In the Diourbel region of western Senegal, villagers like Mbakai Diona, has bidden a farewell to the days he drives four hours long carriage outside the village to fetch water. Thanks to the rural well-drilling project, more than 2 (two) million Senegalese including himself now have access to potable water at their doorsteps.

"We don't have to travel long distances to fetch water or worry about the quality of water in the rainy seasons anymore!" Diona says with ecstasy. "Our Chinese friends built three water intake points for our village as well as a sink for cattle and sheep to drink."

The Senegalese subsidiary contractors of the project, CGCOC has built a total of 978 centralized water supply points, 169 water truck intake points and 193 livestock drinking tanks in Senegal, which solved the problem by providing available drinking water for more than 2 million local people, and provided water source guarantees for the development of agriculture and animal husbandry.

On July 15, 2019, a villager in Tambakunda, central Senegal, and children from the local village thanked a newly built livestock sink up with full clean well water.

Senegalese President, Macky Sall; said the Rural Well Drilling Projects will completely solve the water shortage problem in remote interior areas of Serbia and have an important role in promoting the overall economic and social development of Serbia. Serbia sincerely appreciates China for understanding and fulfilling their needs in time of urgency.

In recent years, with the continuous growth of China's investment scale in Africa, the influence of Chinese enterprises has been continuously increasing. Chinese enterprises’ social responsibility is of great significance to the in-depth development of China-Africa cooperation, which puts forward new requirements and challenges for Chinese enterprises in Africa.
