Nigerian President Cut Ribbon for Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Kebbi State

On November 25, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan cut ribbon for the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Kebbi State, which was constructed by our Group. Mr. Ye Shuijin, Deputy General Manager of CGCOC Nigeria Company, and Mr. Jiang Wei, General Manager of the Northwest Region, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

In his speech, President Jonathan spoke highly of the project and said the airport is a visionary and insightful gesture taken by the Kebbi State government, which will have salient impact on its economy and society. Accompanied by Mr. Ye Shuijin, the President also visited the terminal and inspected the internal structure and monitoring system.

The Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport project was started in June 2012, with the contractual period of 30 months. The project covers the terminals, control tower, aprons, runways, glide slopes, entry and exit roads. Currently, the international airport has become a landmark in Kebbi State.
